What happened?
I’m so sad. I’m a huge Maui Jim fan. These were so expensive. The side pieces are so wide they feel huge on my face. I get too much sun in my eyes they don’t big my face properly.

Pretty, but disappointing
I am a avid fan of Maui jim, I have been almost a brand loyalist for years. This is the first time I have ever been disappointed in a pair of sunglasses. I customized the lens color to green with the rose gold frames and the overall look was great. Fit well on my face, and the colors were beautiful. My concern was quality. The sunglasses feel cheap. The material is flimsy, doesn't feel sturdy at all, same with the nose pads. Compared to my other pairs there seems to be a distinct difference. I will unfortunately be returning this pair.

Maui Jim Favs
Just purchased these (Taupe/Gold) and I love them! I own several other Maui Jim sunglasses that are casual and sporty and I’m happy to now have a luxury pair as well. They are extremely lightweight and even though the lenses are large they don’t rest on your cheeks. Just perfect!

Love Maui Jim but not these

Shopping under the influence
Let this be a warning about drinking and shopping. After a champagne brunch I bought these. They do look great and have wonderful sun protection, but the nose piece feels a bit flimsy when I’m cleaning the lenses. Also it doesn’t have a tangle free nose piece which I believe was introduced 20 years ago in other brands. Would not have paid full price sober. #mostexpensivebrunchever

Too big
They are too big for my face. They slide down and I have to constantly push them up, which is quite annoying. It's disappointing for the price.

Not worth the money
I was so excited to finally be able to order these. I was very disappointed when they arrived. They seemed flimsy and cheap. Definitely not worth the price. I sent them back.

Oh so very stylish…
Was looking for a light weight pair of glasses and found it in these. However the nose piece is metal so they constantly slide down your nose. Style trumps functionality. Over priced but hey they look great!

The black and the brown ones are NEVER in stock. I’ve been waiting months now and still no sign of them being back in stock. I even asked the question and the response was “we don’t know when they’ll be back in stock”. Super helpful… not.

Cute but not worth the $$$
I thought for the price they were going to be much better quality. Very thin, also the nose pieces are metal and slide easily. Should have stayed with my oakleys but now I have $500 sunglasses I can only wear while lying down… they are cute though. There’s that.

The frame is so light weight, and so comfortable! Clarity is phenomenal, and the overall look is absolutely gorgeous. I fell in love as soon as I set eyes on my Violet Lake sunglasses, I just had to have them!!!! they look stunning no matter what time of day, no matter what you wear.
