Lots of money for short durability!
I loved this tent, but it doesn’t last. Zipper corroded from the oceans’ salty air.
The wire frame broke in two places due to being made out of a material that cannot resist its own tension and sea air corrosion, despite always being used and folded correctly.
The product is outrageously expensive for its short lifespan.

Too difficult to refold!
The idea is superb, the material is great and the the color is amazing.....but....almost impossible for anyone to fold it up alone, especially a single woman who wanted the cover for the beach. The design needs to be reinvented as it took another couple, (a man and a woman). together to get it refolded once it had been opened. If you could find another method of folding it up I would purchase it all over again. I am very sad! :(

Great but HOT, not travel sized, takes practice
This is a perfect sized beach tent, larger than expected and I love the design. Pops up super easy! I love that it has a floor. There are lots of screw-type hard plastic very sturdy stakes inside in a convenient pouch, which have two loops on either side to hitch securely to the tent loops. This isn’t going to blow away.
The problem is, it gets hot and stuffy inside in the sun, because there isn’t enough airflow. I’d suggest that the manufacturer make a much larger window in the back wall, and make two other very large zippable windows on both sides of the tent. Furthermore, it is hard to fold up again, but gets easier if you watch the video and practice folding it. I do not recommend for frail elderly people.

Fold up sun tent
Good shade, not cheap, is well made. I would like to see more windows with mesh so air can flow through on the sides also, not just one window in the back of the tent. I folds up nicely. It is larger than I expected, which is nice. The material could be thicker, but I understand the thinner material, makes it light for transport.

Shelter tent strap broken
Just took the shelter out of the plastic wrapper it was shipped in and noticed the strap on the sleeve is ripped off. So bummed.

Not travel size
I never actually used the product, I purchased it for use while traveling. This sun shelter is not travel size. This would not fit in any suitcase while in the stored position.

Perfect shelter, poorly made...
I got my items today, I was very excited... but for the carry bag (beach Shelter), the shoulder strap clip does not work properly... Making it hard to carry on my shoulder if I have a lot stuff like I usually I have :( poorly made.
Disappointed with the quality.

Super easy
I love that this little cabana pops right open! It does take a bit of practice to refold, but once you get it-you get it. The only thing to note is that a full size adult cannot sit in a beach chair inside. At 5'4" I can JUST make it but not my husband. Otherwise, a great little beach accessory.

Im obsessed! 5 STARS!
I used this tent for the 1st time a couple of days ago and I found myself staring at it with hearts in my eyes and talking about it over and over again to my friend! Lol. When folded it is compact and easy to carry with my backpack cooler and chair. It pops open VERY easily and provided the shade we needed when we had enough of the sun. It is Spacious! I can lay in it with my arms extended which is something I didnt expect at all. The window is a great feature and definitely assisted with air circulation. It is the perfect place to nap comfortably (which i did for about a 1/2hr)! Like many of the other reviewers I had to practice closing it and that was somewhat of a challenge but once I figured that out it was easy and I was able to effortlessly fold it, and place it in its case on the beach without the emabarrassment of it popping back open in my face. I highly recommend this tent to anyone looking for an easy, lightweight solution to an umbrella. I will never need an umbrella again!

Great for the park and the beach
I love this sun shade for use with my infant daughter. With COVID we aren’t leaving the house much, but it’s great for sun protection while playing in the yard. We will definitely take it to the park in the future as well. It’s a bit larger than other sun shades, so it can easily accommodate 2-3 adults plus baby. It folds up flat, and while it’s fairly wide, the strap makes it easy to throw across your back for walking or biking with it.

Shading in style at the beach with tommy
provides the perfect sun protection to spend your day at the beach, park, or backyard oasis - although we haven't had the chance to use this beautiful tommy shelter, we hope to on memorial day wknd- we purchased it for our baby grandson and son-in-law to keep them safe and happy at our beach

We love this sun shelter!
It’s nice and roomy and fits 2 adults comfortably. Great for picnics anywhere! You have to practice learning how close it up... it’s doable but not as easy as it looks but besides that we love this shelter!

Awesome sun shelter!! Great quality!
This sun shelter is awesome and totally exceeded my expectations. It’s large and spacious for 4 people (2 adults and 2 kids). Very easy to set up and extremely portable and light. Had to watch video a few times to figure out how to close and a bit of a hassle at first, but able to do it more easily with a few tries. Kids love it and even play with it indoors as a tent. Great quality, too!

Summer fun
I bought this to take to the beach for grand baby. I think we will like but it is tricky to fold back up. Had to watch video a few times to get back up. I cant give a full honest answer due to haven't used yet. Its fairly large so hope it will work. Gave 4 stars because of how hard to fold back together.

Huge Sun Shade
This tent is a lot larger than anticipated. It's great though! The only thing I would have to comment on is that they are plastic corkscrew stakes not metal which is actually better if you are wanting to use it in the sand. Product description is not accurate. Also, the picture directions on how to fold the tent back up are VERY hard to read. Watch the video to save yourself a headache.

My wife loves going to the beach and many times she gets sunburned. The Tommy Bahama Sun Shelter has offered her a relief from the sun and a cozy romantic setting. She is excited every time she goes to the beach and she is happy with her Sun Shelter. The Tommy Bahama Sun Shelter is lightweight and portable.
